Vintage Alvar Aalto Artek 401 armchair

Finnish vintage design chair, type number 401. Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933, and performed by Artek. The chair we offer here has a blue lining and a birch wood lacquered frame and comes from the seventies. The chair was ordered by the previous owner at Metz & Co in Amsterdam during that period. The condition is good given the age, the upholstery is original and is in a trim condition, see the details. The dimensions are 62.5 cm wide, 35 cm seat height and 97 cm high.
